Transfers

Transfers on the website are now live.

You will be pleased to know that you can know carry out transfers on this website and the process is quite straight forwards.

We must point out though, as with the old website, telepathy does not work and there will have to be a communication between the two clubs so that the club losing a player will know the transfer is there.

Process if you are the receiving club:

go the East League website homepage.
click on the Manager your club radio button
enter your password in the field provided
click on manage transfers
scroll down
Enter the players name and current club
then press request this transfer

that is your bit done.

Then contact the away team (if the player concerned is worth their salt they will have told their old club, if not the officers of their club are held on this website, just click on the "clubs tile" at the top of the home page, scroll down and select the club concerned and their officers will be presented. The club losing the player should then decide (without too much delay) whether the player can transfer or not (the usual reason for clubs declining are if the player owes money, kit or there is a disciplinary issue, but we have received "can she resign as our club treasurer first!").

The club losing the player should then either confirm the transfer or tell the receiving club why you are declining the transfer.
If the club losing the player confirm the transfer they should:

go the East League website homepage.
click on the Manager your club radio button
enter your password in the field provided
click on manage transfers
scroll down
They will see the transfer request and all they do is press approve transfer

On the transfer summary page on the front screen of the website the status of the transfer will be visible for all to see.as will the transfer completion date.

Please remember this transfer process only works on transfers from East Club to East Club. Clubs looking to transfer a player into their club from outside the East must contact Neil Liversedge, East League Secretary for advice.
