Urinating at the Side of the Pitch or Behind the Goal

Urinating at the Side of the Pitch or Behind the Goal We have had reports from umpires that the England Hockey directive that players should not pee beside the pitch or behind the goal.

The reasons are obvious, however from neutral appointed games we have had a report of a game in Norfolk a player thought it was OK, while getting changed into his kit, thought it was OK to have a wee while not carrying any shorts. Also this weekend we had a report of a team from Lincolnshire where not 1, not 2 but 3 players were urinating at the same time, no doubt sharing tales of woe as they did.

We have added a bit of humor into this news item, but people feeling the need to pee and feeling it is ok to do so while on the pitch should stop now and understand they expose themselves to penalty either from their club and/or from our sports governing body should the complaint be formally made.
